So tomorrow is suppose to be my official weigh in and as I hopped on the scale this morning I thought, "I shouldn't be doing this!" but I've lost 15lbs! yay me!

30 day Shred


I have started doing Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred. Today was day 4 (if you don't count the 2 days I did it before the week I took off.) I can already tell a difference in my endurance.

I cheated and weighed myself today and it says I've lost a total of 13.6lbs!

Took a week off

I was sick last week! My throat hurt and I had trouble breathing. Every day when I woke up I would hack up so much mucous I couldn't exercise. So I took a week of exercising off. I know that's dangersous but I will start back on Monday! I will do Jillian Michael's 3o day Shred all week next week! I work at 9:30 so I can sleep til 7:30 and still do my work out before work. Another bad thing, I cheated all week. I still ate my good food through the day but it was like when i got home I just ate bad. Chocolate or cream cheese.

Well today I lost .8lbs!

last week I didnt post but I'd gained 1lb :o( So this isn't an additional .8lbs but I am almost back down to where I was. The Jillian Michaels DVD is suppose to lose 5lbs a week so maybe next week will be a nice loss. I am scheduled for my period though so we'll see how it goes.

Time to reflect

While looking back over my goals, I realize some were unreasonable. I didn't lose 20lbs and I'm not 2 sizes smaller. However, my pants are looser and I have gone down 2 sets of 10 in weight. It's nice to see the numbers drop. It's time to make new goals and start again. I'm going to take new pictures. I'm very happy with myself. I've never been motivated like this and stuck with my weight loss for this long. This time I will do it!

Chicken Enchiladas

I made these today, Friday.

Review:

These were really good! They aren't much different from the enchiladas I already make. I used light cheese for mine. I used whole wheat tortillas. This is one of our family favorites. I made guacamole to go with it. We all loved it!

Herbed Chicken

I made this dish Thursday night.

Review:

Chicken was really good! I don't know if I cooked the potatoes too long but they didn't look like they did in the book and they were too mushy. Would have been better if I peeled the potatoes and just made them in to mashed potatoes.

Zesty Italian Chicken


I made this meal for the family on Wednesday. It's called Herbed Chicken from the Eating for Life book. I will provide recipes if anyone is interested.


Review:


Well it wasn't that great. I marinated the chicken in Italian dressing overnight and I didn't taste any Italian dressing on the chicken. The dish was a little bland, however, it tasted better the next day when I reheated it for lunch!
