Not eating enough?

I bought a really neat better homes and garden cook book. It tells you how much fat is in each dish you prepare. So I was reading at the front of the book. It tells you how to figure out your daily calories. So I did it to figure it out. I count fat but was curious. So it said I should have 3,000 calories a day to maintain my current weight. If I want to lose one pound a week I need to consume 500 less calories a day. If I want to lose 2 lbs a week I need to consume 1000 calories less a day. So I took the food I ate that day and figured up I had only had 1300 calories. about 1000 less than I should have! Lately I have not been losing like I think I should. I have been stuck going back and forth between 3 lbs. And, it has taken me 11months to lose 32lbs. I dont think thats right cause I work my ass off! So could it be? Im not eating enough? That boggles my mind cause I thought I was eating plenty. So I am going to try to eat more. And Im going to start counting calories instead of fat. I was eating 30grams of fat a day. Now I will eat between 2000 and 2400 calories a day. Maybe Ive been starving myself. I know they say you can go in to starvation mode if you dont eat enough but I didnt think that was me. So here's to eating more!
