Feels Good

I won't dwell on the fact that I didn't do well this week. We went camping Mon, Tues, Wed and I ate like crap and didn't exercise (other than walking to the bathroom!) So Monday I get back on track.

But today I went through my closet and got rid of anything with a XXL on it because I am down to XL! I am keeping one shirt and one pair of pants to put on at the end and show how baggy they are.

Tomorrow I start a Biggest Loser Weight Loss group! Will post about that tomorrow!

Last 10 Pounds


I watched this show for the first time on Mother's day. I find I hardly get any TV time anymore. So I sat down and was flipping through the channels. I tuned in to this. I enjoyed it, however, I have way more than just 10lbs to lose!

It did help me though. It brought me back to the beginning and gave me a reminder. In the beginning, I read Body for Life and was all pumped. Body for life got me to lose 12.4lbs. BFL says dont count fat or anything, just make healthy choices and reasonable helpings. BFL also says to do cardio one day, upper strength the next, cardio, then lower strength.

So then I started doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, which I love. BUT! I was doing it every day. For the first week I lost 3.6lbs which brought me to my 15lb weight loss. Then after that weight chaos and fluctuations galore!

So The last 10lbs helped me to remember that I need to eat healthy and more not less. I have gotten in to a bad habit of eating the same thing everyday and my body has adapted. I need to switch it up.

Also, Jillian had me doing the same exercises every day and BFL says that's not good. So I will do Jillian's workouts Mon, Wed, Fri and ride my bike Tues, Thurs.

Mother's Day

I have been depressed with my weight. It is SO all over the pace! I was down 15lbs. Then I weighed myself and all of a sudden I was up 6lbs! I wasn't on my period. I haven't stopped eating healthy or exercising. I have been doing everything the same. And I gain 6lbs! So Ive been depressed. Ive been ready to quit but thankfully I have great friends and family to encourage (or threaten lol) me.

So today I weighed myself and I'm down 13.6lbs. That's better than the 6lb weight gain! Also, I have gone from a size 22 pants (that's embarassing to admit but there, I said it!)to a size 20. Well today, wearing my size 20 jeans, I bent over outside to pick up a box, stood up and half my butt was hanging out LOL So I can't quite get in to my size 18 jeans yet but the 20s are falling off. That's a good sign!

I work 9:30-6 this week so I have no excuse to not exercise. I pray for good health to be able to. I grocery shopped this morning and bought healthy food to make it through 2 weeks.

Week 16


Here is week 12 & week 16 of my weightloss. I dont see much of a difference but Paul says he does. I see more of a difference with clothes off but Im not posting that lol

Measurements 16 weeks

I took my measurements today. Not a huge loss but in total I have lost 24.5inches in 16 weeks!
